The Data Protection Policy employed by Accelerate Search Limited has been developed as an extension of our commitment to combine the finest quality services with the highest level of integrity in dealing with our clients, candidates, associates and staff and is fully GDPR compliant. The Policy guides how we collect, store and use information about individuals and organizations. It will be continuously assessed against new technologies, business practices and the changing needs of everyone we deal with.
By making available your Data, as defined below, you confirm that:
You have reviewed the Data Protection Policy and agree that Accelerate Search Limited may process your Data in accordance with this Policy.
You have provided any notices and obtained any consents needed to provide information concerning others (e.g., information about employment references).
Your Candidate Data may be distributed and processed among Accelerate Search Limited and our network, including clientele in other countries that may not be deemed to provide the same level of data protection as your home country, for the purposes and in the manner specified in this Data Protection Policy.
Your Client Data may be distributed and processed among Accelerate Search Limited and our candidates, including candidates in other countries that may not be deemed to provide the same level of data protection as your home country, for the purposes and in the manner specified in this Data Protection Policy.
Data refers to both Candidate Data and Client Data.
Candidate Data is identifiable information that an individual makes available to Accelerate Search Limited in connection with the recruiting process. Accelerate Search Limited may collect Candidate Data directly from a job candidate or from third parties—for example, in connection with a background or employment check or employment reference, subject to your consent where required by law. Candidate Data may include a variety of information, such as candidate status, work history/job data, education, compensation, contact information, previous addresses or names, references, CV or resume, interview notes or any additional information provided by the candidate.
Sensitive Candidate Data is Candidate Data concerning nationality or citizenship, race or ethnic origin, criminal history, gender, or trade union membership. Accelerate Search Limited neither requests nor considers information concerning gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or political opinions in connection with recruiting.
Client Data is identifiable information that the client makes available to Accelerate Search Limited in order to conduct the search. Client Data may include a variety of information, such as job descriptions, terms and conditions, candidate contracts, employment plans, compensation expectations, contact information, names and references, or any additional information provided by the client.
Processing refers to any action performed on Candidate Data or Client Data, such as collecting, recording, organizing, storing, transferring, modifying, using, disclosing, or deleting.
Accelerate Search Limited collects Data only when there is a legitimate business need to do so.
Our Policy provides the following:
Notice: We will inform you about why we are collecting your Data and how we intend to use it. For Candidates, we need to collect and store your name, email address, and other basic Candidate Data, for example, to provide our clients with a potential candidate for a job opening or to contact candidates if a relevant job becomes available. For Clients, we need to collect and store your hiring director’s name and email address, a job description, and other basic Client Data, for example, to provide our candidates with information about the job opening and to maintain communication with a company representative.
Candidate Opt Out: We store Candidate Data so that we will be able to use these candidates for similar positions in the future. However, we will not disclose Candidate Data to third parties that are not affiliated with Accelerate Search Limited before verifying the interest of the candidate in the role and obtaining consent for the data to be released. Candidates may opt to have their data deleted from our system at any time by emailing email@example.com.
Client Opt Out: We store Client Data so that we will be able to effectively conduct the search for our clients as well as be able to contact them concerning future business opportunities. We will not disclose Client Data to potential candidates before verifying the interest of the candidate in the role and obtaining consent for the data to be released. Additionally, we will not disclose Client Data to third parties that are not affiliated with Accelerate Search Limited. Clients may opt to have their data deleted from our system at any time by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Security: We will maintain appropriate safeguards to ensure the security, integrity and privacy of your Data. Candidate Data will be erased from our database one year after being collected. Client Data will be securely stored for up to 10 years, or until otherwise told to erase.
Candidate Review and Correction: We are continuing to enhance our procedures to enable you to review and correct, upon request, the Data we collect from you. Currently, we need you to make such a request in a manner that can be verified.
Accelerate Search Limited will not sell Data in any form, including mailing lists. All of its Data is confidential and for internal use only.
Accelerate Search Limited will not disclose Candidate Data to other candidates, under any circumstances. All of its Candidate Data is confidential and for internal use only.
Accelerate Search Limited will not disclose Client Data to other clients, unless requested to do so. All of its Client Data is confidential and for internal use only.
Accelerate Search Limited will continue to oversee implementation of and compliance with our Policy and will adapt the Policy to reflect changes in technology and the expectations of everyone we deal with.

We have established procedures to ensure that every reasonable effort is made to address your concerns.
