Case Study IV

How we realign with clients’ requirements immediately

We were engaged on a position with a major online retailer. As with the majority of our work, we were engaged on the project on a success-only basis (no win, no fee). The vacancy was a human resources position supporting all the corporate functions division for our client. The vacancy was created as a result of exponential growth in the business and the need for extra headcount.

OUR APPROACH:

We were engaged on the search in late July 2016, just before the hiring manager went on holidays. She requested to see a group of candidates on the day the returned to the office. Within one week, we had been in direct contact with 75 people and submitted the 8 best profiles.

Ability to adjust search:

After two weeks of sourcing, our client changed their minds regarding the requirements for the role. Rather than a pure HR Business Partner profile, the client decided they wanted somebody with experience in Talent Management and Recruitment and Selection considering the objectives of the role. We adjusted our search and delivered new candidates within 48 hours of this change. The candidate that was eventually hired was presented 3 weeks after engaging on the search.
